Customer is building out a Data Designer and I want to get a list of users that belong to a specific user group. She have pulled in both 'User' and 'User Group' objects, but there doesn't seem to be a field to join these objects on.
The User Group does not have an identifier to join with the User object.
I had a similar request in the past, but was trying to identify which CTAs were created by Group XYZ, and realized that the Pool ID in the CTA object does not correlate either to the User Group GSID (but the relationship between them can be pulled from the backend). I see you are a Gainsight Employee, if you can access the ticket for the whole response, the ticket is #348334. It just dawned on me that I was meaning to submit an idea about this issue, but somehow I completely forgot.
I hope I’m mistaken and there is a more effective way to to this, but whe only workaround I can think of right now (and just as a one-off because otherwise it requires perpetual manual maintenance) is to either pull the list from the backend or to use the inspect function and pull the user GSIDs from the HTML; the user GSID is stored in the row-id attribute. And then import that data into DD via S3.
