I was chatting with another Admin - and I suppose this may need clarification.
I want to mark Objectives as internal or external (which is currently in place).
The external user should SEE all Externally-shared objectives. They should NOT SEE any Internal Only objectives (even if they own the internal only objective - which I would never plan to do).
The external user should be able to edit Externally shared objectives which they own.
Let’s see if that makes more sense.
Very valid use case Wayne. I wonder if one of the other options provides this functionality but maybe the text is not indicating that? Not sure if you tested all the other options and found this as a true corner case though?
Thanks for the follow up @dan_ahrens - sorry for the delay. Yes, we tested all options, then tested them again with our TAM on the line and discussed all options with someone from product. Still an edge case - but in my opinion, the first option I would want to use when it comes to external sharing.
@waynedilworth Did you come up for a solution for this? We’re exploring using externally shared success plans but have the same concern as you. We would like to hide some objectives and also potentially have the users be able to edit the ones they own. This, to me, seems like one of the primary use cases of sharing a success plan.
More control/permissions when sharing success plan with external users is in the medium term roadmap. “View Externally Shared & Edit Objectives owned” is part of it.
