Importing notes in timeline

Hi,



We are working on enabling the capability to import notes from external systems in timeline. Few external systems from which there is a need to import notes are - 




  1. Salesforce objects (SF activities, GS Call To Action, etc)
  2. Evernote
  3. Onenote

What are the other external systems from which you would like to import notes?

Including an integration to notes with Evernote would be massively helpful.

Our team works in Microsoft OneNote quite a bit and it would be a huge win to be able to import that information into Gainsight CTAs or activities.  We have created a custom object in SFDC to allow us to map specific activities/events in one spot.  We've found that the "To Do" object gets over used by various applications (i.e. Pardot) and thus filled with noise.  Ideal state would be the ability to integration from OneNote into Gainsight and then map Gainsight to our custom SFDC objects.

I’m no expert but you can create timeline entries using the Timeline API: https://support.gainsight.com/gainsight_nxt/API_and_Developer_Docs/Timeline_API/Timeline_APIs
