Hi team,

We’re asking our users to do a contact cleanup effort in the next few weeks and to do that, quite a few users mentioned that ideally they would have a place (ie: a tabular report in a dashboard) where they could see all contacts from all company records assigned to them and be able to edit them without having to go to the C360.

If I remember correctly, inline editing in reports now exists but it’s limited to low volume custom objects and cases, right?

Is there an alternative I’m missing? or is the only way having them going to each account’s C360 individually?

I think you are right.
Not ideal but maybe a workaround could be provide your users with an external report (eg, Sheets) for them to do that, and then use S3 + rules to do the update? Adding the modified date you can then use it as a base to discard records that were updated in Gainsight later…
I hope someone can have a better solution but just in case, I'll leave this idea
