Hi!

How do we join External Account IDs when companies merge with another company?

Hi @MelissaC 

You would use the company merge feature in data management in Gainsight, but first need to ensure the two records have been merged upstream (in SFDC for example) before you merge them in GS as the one you have merge would otherwise end up syncing back into Gainsight. 

The most expensive part of building is the mistakes. That's true in construction. Not so much in CSOps. So ask questions, make mistakes and learn. All views expressed here are my own.
