Documentation says to go to Cockpit>Playbook and then I can add a Playbook.  I don't have that option, is there somewhere I have to enable Playbooks or what?
You'll need to have the "Create" permission for Playbooks. That is under Administration >> Playbook Permissions.
I thought that could be it but I have set that, deleted the permission and added it yet I still don't see it.  Support ticket?
Hmm yeah I think that is best at this point. Sorry I couldn't help!
Appreciate the quick attempt though
Hi Todd, I am unable to reproduce this issue in our environments. Would you be able to show this to us in a live meeting from you instance. If yes, please let me know and I will reach out to you via email.
This is slightly embarrassing but maybe it will help someone else.  I didn't realize I needed to click on the pop out menu from the side to get to the playbook.  The documentation online doesn't really mention it.  #rookiemistakes

There is no longer the option to search for the word playbook and grant direct access to creating a playbook via user permissions. You must now grant access in the “navigation permissions” under the “administration” section. You must select both Cockpit in Navigation and Cockpit under Administration.

Navigation Permissions > Administration > Cockpit

Navigation Permissions

☑ Cockpit

  • The Cockpit page displays Call to Actions (CTAs). On this page, you can create new CTAs here, assign them to users, filter and work on the CTAs you have been assigned.

Administration

You can use this page to configure the Gainsight application for the organization and users. You can also modify settings and enable additional functionality as required.

☑ Cockpit

  • Call to Action (CTA) is the backbone of the Cockpit workspace and typically contains more granular tasks for the CSMs to complete.

Select both of the above boxes and the user will be granted access to create playbooks.
