Past Due CTA Notification to Managers

Has anyone explored having some kind of automation within Gainsight wherein the manager of the CTA owner gets a daily notification (could be an email) with a list of overdue CTAs that are owned by his/her direct reports?

Hi @fatima_sarah !
It can get noisy to go that way instead of using a Dashboard or custom Home, but you can do it by using the share feature in report builder. You have to build one report per manager and then schedule to each of their emails in the desired cadence (see this article)

If we are going to the regular report being sent route, a report would be sent even if there’s no overdue CTA (which might be impossible for some organizations)

 

Would you know if GS has a plan to customize notifications whenever a CTA is closed?

Use Case: Automatically notify PSM’s team leader whenever a CTA is closed by anyone from their team, together with the following details:

CTA Name and link

Close Status

Due Date

Date Closed

Comments

@fatima_sarah I didn’t read anything about it here, but if that is something that you are interested in, you can submit an idea!

I’m no API wizard but I would look into leveraging the API for that use case, maybe connected to Slack... Eg, there is an OOTB connection for Slack to push NPS data in real time, perhaps you can achieve something similar were each PSM team leader gets their own channel and the notifications are sent to those specific channels (here you have the basic documentation)
