Quarter date format

I have a report that is grouped by Quarter and I am wanting to change how its presented from QX-YYYY to YYYY-QX. I looked in setting, rule transformations, cases but nothing is allowing me to switch the position of the quarter and the year. Anyone have success doing this?

    Hello Ty, and welcome to the Community.

    I’ve yet to see a way to alter that Quarter format. There’s little customization or custom formatting that one can apply to date formats.

    What’s your end need or goal? Perhaps we can brainstorm some solutions if we know the end state you seek.

      Hi Matt, I ended up creating a picklist where created YYYY Qx, then used criteria on actions to set the the correct option.

       

      The goal of this is when exporting data it can be sorted without any other manipulation.
