Sync Slack Channel to Timeline?

we are looking for this as well - we want to bring Slack conversations into timeline - but block Sally from retrieving info from Gainsight back into slack

Thank you for reaching out. Currently, there are no direct integrations from Slack to Timeline. The product team is planning to implement a Load to Timeline Action for Rules, but we do not expect it to be available until Q1 next year.

Hello ​@victoria_peeker_barry, Yes Command: /sally timeline can be used. As of now we do not have this functionality in rules engine. Thanks for sharing.

We can directly push messages that were sent in Slack, by clicking on three dots against the message -> click "Connect to Apps" -> More message shortcuts, and search for timeline. You should see a timeline option from Sally. The pop up window asks for company info.

Once you use the Timeline option one too many times, it will be available in "Connect to Apps" section, reducing one more click and search. However, there is no automated way to do this through Sally but if you want to push the Slack data to Timeline, the approach involves sending Slack data to an Amazon S3 bucket, where a rule processes it and pushes it to Timeline via the Timeline API.
