Hello GS Community,

Could you let us know why we would receive an error when using the BCC email address that it is sending certain professors emails to drafts?  Do we have our set up wrong?  Should it be set to company or relationship?  

The most common reason for a bcc: email to end up in drafts is that the recipient’s email address is linked to more than one Company or Relationship record. In that scenario, Gainsight can’t delineate which Company or Relationship should “receive” the Timeline entry.

As for Company vs Relationship, it depends on your configuration. If you’re using Relationships heavily, then you would likely use Relationships. If not, then Company is likely your best choice.
