Is it possible to have Contact records displayed under the C360, so that our CS managers can log tasks under these contact records from Gainsight?
We want our CS managers to use Gainsight only for this kind of work, but unsure if this is possible or not.
Many thanks,
Ana Costa

You can create a related list/report and have it displayed on the C360 but can you elaborate on what you mean by “log tasks under the contacts?”
Hi Jeff,
Thanks for the insight 🙂.
Sure, so our CS team would like to have the same ability tas they have on SFDC side to be able to create tasks under the contact records that they interact with.
Currently what they have to do is:
1. Go to the Account page
2. Click the name of the contact for which they are logging the task
3. This brings up the ‘Contacts’ page
4. Navigate to ‘Open Activities’. Click “New Task”
5. Select the type and save
What they want is the ability to access the ‘contacts’ page from the C360 – if possible by clicking on the name like they do in SFDC.
Many thanks,
Ana

Ah then yes, if you create a Gainsight report off of the Contacts object, add in the columns you want displayed, then go to the C360 Layouts and add a Related List section, select the Contacts object, attach the report you just built and ensure it is mapped by the Account ID (upper right corner) then they would see the list of contacts on the C360 and there would be two icons at the right end of each line - a pencil which allows them to enter the contact in edit mode and an eyeball which takes them to the contact in view mode.
