One-off emails are ideal for:

  • Community digests (eg. a monthly digest with the most engaging topics and events)

  • Promoting events or important topics (eg. if there’s a big community update or event)

  • Reaching beta testers (eg. if you want to reach users from a specific group)

Sending a one-off campaign means that the email will only send to the recipients who match your recipients filters now (or optionally: at the scheduled time in the future)

Creating a one-off email

  1. Selecting the Email Type

  • Select One-off email as the email type

  1. Creating the email itself

    • Create a subject for the email (max. 256 characters)

    • Create the body of the email

  2. Select recipients

    • You can apply one or a combination of the following filters:

      1. Primary role

      2. Custom role

      3. Last activity

      4. Registration date

    • You need to apply at least one filter before you can send out the email

    • Note: Due to keeping bounce rates and spam rates in check, we are excluding unsubscribed users, and users that haven’t been active for more than 365 days regardless of which filters you apply

  3. Send options

    • You can select Send one-off email now to send out the email to all users that currently match your filters

You can select Schedule one-off email to send it out at a later moment in time. Note: we will re-run the filters at the scheduled time to make sure all users that match the criteria at the scheduled time will be sent.

I just sent one of email to our members. What does the field “No. of emails sent” mean? I sent email to all of our members and that field displays number what is roughly 40% from it.
