TL;DR: you can now use only the in-page widget (by disabling the conversational widget), and we simplified the setup of domains for the widgets AND made it more powerful.
Update #1: From Control, you can now enable/disable the conversational widget and in-page widget independently of each other.
For those of you who want to use only the in-page widget, it’s now super easy to set this up! Learn how: How To Enable Only The In-page Widget.
Update #2: You can now add the widgets to multiple domains with the same configuration
In short: previously you could only use the widgets on one domain. Now you can use them on one or more domains!
Thanks to @Koen for bringing this to our attention. We’re going to release a teeny-tiny update in the next few days to make it so that the widgets are only allowed to execute on these domains, giving you total control over where the widgets are allowed to be published.
We’re also acting on your feedback about how setting up a ‘channel’ is confusing (in fact, “i have no idea what a channel is” is something we heard lots ). We’re revamping this page to make it simpler - so simple that your somewhat-technically-adept grandma would be able to understand it 👵
Oh yeah, and your visitors can also view the details of a topic in the widgets without leaving the page 8)
