[SFDC Edition] Token Support From Customer Info For Outlook/Gmail Plugin

Posting on behalf of a customer.

 

It is found that currently the Outlook or Chrome plugin supports tokens from Account, Contact, and GS Relationship. Customer Info is quite a configured object for use with Gainsight, it be nice to bring tokens from that object as well.

 

Right now fields from that object won’t resolve in Outlook or Chrome plugin if they are attempted to be used when mapped as default token in email templates.

Adding in some details on why expanding Token support to Customer Info would be so helpful.

Getting fields added to the Account object to hold a needed token value is often difficult or impossible - usually SFDC Admins are near the limits for custom fields, etc. on Account, and fields so limited in purpose rarely make the cut.

Adding more fields to Customer Info, however, is usually acceptable to the SFDC Admin team -- so expanding to CustInfo saves a lot of grief for the GS Admin trying to house token values somewhere accessible via rules from MDA or other objects .
