I saw a few other posts related to this for articles and such, but couldn’t find any for events.

I see the option to save drafts or mark enabled / disabled for articles. However, this function is missing for events. Currently, the only way to remove any event is to completely delete it. I want to be able to disable events in case I need to make updates or temporarily hide.

Similarly, draft mode would help with efficiencies in managing event setup.

Hi @alex.maks, thanks for sharing this idea. A draft mode for events makes a lot of sense.

Could you elaborate on ‘mark enabled / disabled for articles’ a bit more? Which feature do you mean?

I’d put this idea to ‘open’ to collect more votes and feedback. :)

Hi @xiaoyu-shen,

For the enabled/disabled, I just mean the ability to bring something back into draft mode after it’s been published, in case I want to hide it but not completely delete it.

Hi @xiaoyu-shen

Do you have any updates you can provide to this? Not being able to save a draft version of an event before publishing is providing to be a major detriment to our workflows for event setup. If we could treat events publication like a regular article by including a draft mode for events, this would solve a lot.

Hi @alex.maks,

Unfortunately, there’s no update on this idea as it has not received many votes yet. Sorry to hear that the current workflow is not that smooth. I can bring this problem up internally and see if there’s anything we can help.

I’ve discussed this issue with the team. But looking at the current roadmap and feature priority, we don’t consider working on this in near future. We’d reconsider the decision when there are more needs/votes. :)

Hi @xiaoyu-shen any update on this? It really limits the workflow not being able to save an Event in draft.

Hi @Anitahg thanks for raising this. Sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues because of the feature limitation.

We will do an ideation review soon and give an update to this idea. :)

Any updates on this? Not being able to craft a draft event means we have to guess and hope that a URL to an event that hasn’t been published is accurate which is a very uncomfortable place to be in.
