From my understanding, besides public groups I can have private and secret groups.
A private group can have a mechanism called “Share invite link”, where a user can receive a link and if clicked, the user becomes member of the group automatically
A Secret Group can invite users adding the Insided username in a textbox. BUT does not have an option to produce a “Share invite link” to send to the users.
I’d like to be able to send an invite link also to the members of a secret group, and currently this option is not available.
The use case for this is that I want to use an automatic mechanism for people to join a group without a community manager intervention and at the same time this group doesn’t need to be visible because nobody can request to join anyway (it is invite only)
*I tried to create a private group and change it to secret but the link becomes not functional if the group is secret.
