You might wonder which personal data is being stored in the community. This can be important for your privacy statement (often included in the terms & conditions) as well as for your internal documentation.

For how long do we process personal data (retention period/ storage limitation)?

  • Until the SaaS subscription service contract expires or churns; then all the customer's community data (including any backups and logs) will be deleted within 30 days. If requested, when the customer decides to end the contract with inSided, all of the data is transferred to the customer including database dump(s) and static files.
  • inSided community users have the possibility to request the deletion of all their account and data. You can read here how to erase a user account. Upon this request, data is erased immediately.
