@Veronica.Moore commented on this newly re-shared post that was originally (11 months ago) a comment thread during the Dynamic JO beta to let us clone Dynamic JO steps

 

Another idea I’d suggested in that same thread (now hidden because it was in the beta) was to let us create a saved evaluate step library. (see the screenshot at the bottom)

This would:

  • let us easily add evaluate steps that use the same filter logic across ALL of our programs
  • reduce chances for human error
  • save valuable time

This ask is also similar to this request to let us have saved custom content blocks in the email template builder to make that process easier.

 

This could also be considered similar to how Data Design templates can be leveraged as a building block in Dynamic JO queries. Most of our multi-step triggered programs have a handful of calculated fields that are the same for every program, and rebuilding those for every program and every evaluate step significantly increases both the margin of error and the time required to create a program.

 

The ask in short:

Let us create a library of program steps to pull from when we create programs! 😃
