With all these amazing additions to inline editing, we are starting to create some really easy to use/high impact inline editing dashboards in Gainsight. I think now is the perfect time to add some more robust visual displays to our tabular reports.
I’m requesting that we allow us to start doing the following things:
- Ability to color code columns in a dashboard - Use case: We can color code editable columns in a report on a dashboard to make it easy for end users to understand what is editable and what is not.
- Add color options to picklists in reports. - Another great update would be to take the functionality from CTA reporting (Statues/type) and add the ability to use those on fields in reporting. This would allow us give end users an extra visual when looking at their book of business.
Bonus Points - Adding more color functionality to dashboard builder as well. Would be great to color code reports so when leadership is reviewing a high end dashboard they understand easily what each report relates too. (Ex. Red reports are connected to Risk, Green is ARR, Blue is CTA, etc.)
