Had a request from mgmt to have the ability to have an acitivty type that only they can use - ie Mgmt Updates. Is there a way to do this? or something in the roadmap?

Hi Heather,

In future, we plan to give the ability to create Gainsight permissions on activity attributes. Using it you will be able to restrict users from viewing activities of a particular type. This is in our long term roadmap.

Thanks,

Nitisha

Would love to be able to do this, we have some activity types which are for specific departments to use and want to avoid others using them accidentally (we also have 35 types currently, so this would help with the UI for each group).

Any updates here?  I have the same use case as @HollySimmons, so would love to be able to only display the types that are relevant to the appropriate group.  For example, our TAMs are in Gainsight, so I’d like to only display the activity types that relevant to the TAM group and not all groups.
