Segment Field and Filter Search Improvements

I’ve been trying to adopt segments more to use in our programs and there is one big thing that is painful and affecting my adoption of it.

We have more than 400 fields on our contact object. This of course looks up to the account object.

When adding fields or filters to a segment, the lookup objects are only searched if that lookup is showing in the dropdown. You can see in my screenshot that there is a button to “show 360 more” fields. When you click this, it only shows 50 more fields.

So if I want to search for field from the account lookup, I have to click this option 7 times, scrolling down after each click of “show x more”​​​​​​ until I get the account lookup to show. Only after this can I search for a field from the account object. 

This is incredibly painful when you have possibly dozens of fields to add as list fields as well as filters since it adds much more time to the setup.

 

Can the search be expanded to include fields from lookup objects if they aren’t in the initial list of fields/objects?
