When you create an inline survey question for a CSAT question, it is missing the following in the email:

  • Score measure labels. If you’ve set your question type to be Radio(Score) which shows the numbers of the score answers, your inline survey question will just show as 1 2 3 4 5 with no labels
    • eg...instead of
      [Very Dissatisfied 1 2 3 4 5 Very Satisfied]
      the email just reads
      [ 1 2 3 4 5 ]
  • Smileys. If you’ve configured your survey question to include Smileys, the smileys do not show up in the inline survey question

Why is this a problem?

  • It makes Radio(Score) an unusable question layout type for an inline survey question as the recipient is not aware of what a score of 1 means vs a score of 5. you’re forced into using the Default or the Radio(Text) options.
  • It makes the Smileys unusable for an inline survey question
