As a manager I’d like to follow every customer in my portfolio until they leave. Also, I want the CSMs that will eventually be getting these accounts from my Implementation team to follow them too.

Doing this from a rule allows us to set a very helpful mechanism to getting updates in place without having to constantly manage the follows manually.

Hi @Scotty at Calendly

For your second ask, this is something that you can already do. Head over to Notification Settings, and set the field value you want to auto-follow companies / relationships (CSM is a default field, but you could imagine creating a “Team Manager” field to also have them auto-follow their team’s book of business.

But having people follow can be done smoothly. It’s the unfollow piece that really need tackling.

@alizee thanks for adding this comment, TIL about these settings as a result. This helps us in half of the conundrum that was first outlined here.

Having said that, there is still a use case where we would need to bulk update/remove users from follows via Rules Engine.

+1 on this!
