Some OOTB modules in Gainsight CC, such as Ideas and Product Updates, have automatically generated URLs. It would be great to have the ability to customize these URLs to align with one’s chosen naming conventions. In my specific use case, Ideas and Product Updates are “product feedback” and “release notes”, respectively. I would like the URL to matching this copy that’s already on the page.

Essentially, this would just mean the path could read release-notes instead of product-updates, for example.

I’d like to see more feedback from community on this. To clarify @mbuuck1, is the main desire to be able to alter the top-level module URL’s or further down the structure with sections and category URL’s?

Hi @Larry, thanks! My main desire is to alter the top-level module URL’s, but have that convention persist down through any content within that module. So, for example, if I rename product-updates to release-notes, I would want any individual post within the product updates module to follow the structure.

To show a specific example from my own community, I would want the URL

https://community.lucid.co/product-updates/lucid-suite-release-notes-october-2025-12150

to automatically inherent that convention and instead be:

https://community.lucid.co/RELEASE-NOTES/lucid-suite-release-notes-october-2025-12150
