Ability to have more than 1 CTA type share status without adding to global list

As we have more departments adopting to Gainsight tool, we have a need to have certain status values needed on certain CTA types, not all (global). There is no way to do this without creating a new status for each of the CTA types that need this status. We have set up rules and bots reading off status values and this makes it difficult to have more multiple values instead of one. I mean, how many creative ways can you say “call scheduled”?
