Ability to set order for Ideation Status

Hi @mstone, thanks for sharing this idea with us :)

To understand the use case: what’s the goal of ordering the ideation status? What would be the expected outcome? 

The goal is to make it more clear for end-users how an idea flows through our process. Ie… New → Open → In Progress → Complete

Currently, this would be listed on the right side of the page like so:

• Complete
• In Progress
• New
• Open

when I’d prefer it to be in the correct order:

• New
• Open
• In Progress
• Complete

Agree - this is a little confusing for users when the “pipeline” is out of order

I completely agree with this idea. You can now only choose between not having an order, or adding numbered prefixes which feels quite forced and is certainly not very UI/UX friendly.

I suspect that this feature is a somewhat more latent need, and therefore perhaps receives not that many votes. But I that such an option would make the ideation feature a lot more intuitive for all users.

Any update on this one?

You can now drag-and-drop ideation statuses as per your requirements to reflect in the destination. Let us know what you think or if you have more suggestions around this.
