+1In most (if not all) other Activity types, the user can select ‘Share Via Email’ to email a Person or User record from within Gainsight. See screenshot below:
This cannot be done with Emails logged to Timeline from JO Programs. See additional screenshot:
Some of the emails we send to our customers get requested by other contacts from the same Company. It would be great if our users could just ‘Share Via Email’ these emails logged to Timeline from JO.
+7This is a fantastic idea.
Especially since some of those emails either have tokenized information or embedded reports that we are unable to re-create when there are no participants loaded in the JO.
+11Definitely would have assumed this was possible given the functionality existing for other timeline entries. This enhancement is a no-brainer for the GS Product team.
+7Yep -- this makes things especially difficult when the requester doesn’t have Gainsight access, and just wants a copy of the email. Having to sends screenshots is not a replacement for sharing a copy of the email.
What would be great is to be able to share it with a comment.
+6I like this idea. It would be helpful for my CSM team to send something quickly to the AE, or Finance team, etc.
Definite QoL improvement here.
+13We basically need JO timelines to be real entries.
