Currently, this object does not allow you to pull in fields for formula fields beyond the base object.
In other words, fields on the two native lookups and any beyond that are inaccessible.
Considering there are only a couple of fields on the base object, this renders formula fields useless.
The availability of the fields should also honor your who/whatis ID resolution in the report as well.
As discussed on session - to pull in fields that are in a lookup to the base object they need to be expanded in the field view first - this is a limitation which we will solve in the formula redesign scheduled to be worked on soon.
