Add ability to tokenize a number field for Add/Subtract Date Formula

As of today, we can only enter static fields for the add/subtract date formula. Has there been any consideration to allowing a dynamic component to this formula? So we can do something like “Renewal Date + (insert number field).” I think it’d be a nice enhancement and would be another step toward keeping customers in the Rules Engine instead of Excel.

    +100 to the Idea.

          Just encountered this scenario due to variations in contract length, so the calculation cannot always be start date + 12 months

            Looks like this is released now, but am I reading this right that I can only add days or weeks? I really need to be able to add months for my use case (and I imagine others will too, especially re: setting an NPS cadence for example).

            Hello Everyone!

            The Add/Subtract Date Formula field in the Date Formulas of Transformation Tasks now accepts dynamic fields. Previously, this field accepted only static numeric values as input. With this v6.16 release, the number of days you add to or subtract from a date dynamically changes with the value of the selected field. 

            Also, Gainsight introduces new Number Formulas to the Formula Fields in Rules Engine. These enable you to perform powerful calculations in your Transformation Tasks while setting up a rule. 

            This feature is implemented in both SFDC & NXT versions.
