Add "Product Area" as Zapier new idea created trigger field

Makes sense to me @Chris Anderson.

Is the Slack channel intended for product managers to manage the inflow of ideas, or is it a more general channel for other colleagues (e.g. CSMs) to stay updated on what your customers are asking for?

@daniel.boon I think it’s more the latter, but probably a bit of both. I’ve asked a PM who’s running point on product feedback to weigh in here as well, stay tuned.

It’s a bit of both, I’d say 70% of our employees are in that channel so it’s a way for everyone to have a sense of what customers are asking for, not just PM. That said, PM does pay more attention to that channel than other teams and being able to see the Product Area would help us more quickly sense who the best responder would be. I could see some team members even setting up keyword notifications based on this too.

Our product team would like to set up multiple slack channels based on the product area and only send ideas from that product area to the dedicated slack channel. This way PMs can filter out noise in a busy channel and stay focused on their product area(s) only.
