Forum sub-category views currently only offer three filter options: recently active, most replies, and most views. There's no way to filter posts by who posted them. We'd like the ability to filter by custom roles, since many communities assign specific roles to different contributor types. In our case, we have superuser roles like Community Advisor and Champion, as well as employee roles like Community Manager, Employee, and Product Manager.
This would let community members quickly surface content from their most knowledgeable contributors. For example, users could browse all product releases and deprecation notices from the company, or find advice from recognized superusers, without scrolling through every thread.
