Hi @jobin.james ,

You expect to be able to add a shadow like this which is available for Dialogs and Tooltip steps?

We will shortly introduce this setting for Badge tooltip in Editor V2.

Thanks,

Abhilash

Thank you for acknowledging this request. Hope this image clarifies what we are after.

We were able to change the color and spacing using inline styles in the code editor (see below image). However, it was impossible to change the box-shadow. These tooltips have a parent container which cannot be reached by our changes.

Hi @jobin.james ,

Yes today we do not have the Badge and Badge-tooltip CSS exposed on the Editor. Do you want it for Editor V1 too? We are investing on Editor V2 and hence recommend to use V2 for Guides because the Editor UI has many more controls which allows for formatting without having to depend on CSS. Similarly for Badge tooltip, we are looking at exposing the shadow feature on the Editor V2 UI.

Thanks,

Abhilash

Thanks. The reason we are using Editor V1 is because of its ability to edit engagements without having to launch the app. We can move to Editor V2 when this functionality is available.

I just realized that Editor V2 also supports creating engagements without having to launch our application.

It was during beta that you could not edit engagements on Editor V2 without launching the app. But we have addressed this in Editor V2 with its full functionality. Using V2 too you can create and edit engagements without having to launch the App. So you can now make V2 your default editor for Guides.
