Admin and User Defined Objective Views

Currently, the Objectives tab in Success Plans has several “Admin Defined Views” set up out of the box, but I’ve confirmed that you cannot actually edit these or add to them. The header in the selection window mirrors Cockpit, which is a bit misleading. See the screenshot below…

It would be helpful to add the ability to configure new views here, for both the Admin (available to all users) and on a per user basis (as with Cockpit custom views). Users here have requested the ability to add a view for a specific Objective Category and I cannot help them.

Admin & custom views for CTAs/tasks within success plan (similar to Cockpit views) is in the medium term roadmap.

Yes please, we need to be able to create views and add source type options.

@Anil Raj Pujari so glad to hear that this functionality is part of the medium-term roadmap. I hope it can get prioritized sometime relatively soon!

Our use case is that we use a Type called Strategic Plan for our collaborative Success Plans with customers, and we use other success plans to coordinate internal efforts for our customers. Only Strategic Plans contain customer-defined objectives, so our execs only care to view those. We were hoping with the new C360 to have our Success Plan tab filter only to Strategic Plans for our Exec layout. This functionality would definitely help decrease friction in Exec adoption of GS 🙌🏻 Will subscribe for updates on this thread 🤓

@Anil Raj Pujari what does medium term mean? Considering it has been almost a year since you shared that update and the status of this post is still “No Status”.

@gunjanm Anil is no longer at Gainsight - at ServiceNow now.

@mpatra is this also under the mysterious “Admin Redesign Project”?

This is a feature that has been in the backlog but was passed over for other critical priorities. This will be taken up post completion of the Admin revamp project.
