This is for joint Staircase and CS customers - we recently got the AI Insights table and a handful of others, that allow us to report on info/insights fired from Staircase, within Gainsight CS. This is great, but there is some needed detail that is lacking.

For example, if you look at Churn Risk insights, the best you get is this:

While you can now create a CTA based on this data, there’s very little you can provide the CSM in the actual payload to help them out. They will be required to look elsewhere to discover why that fired, or anything else. While they will likely head to the Staircase C360 tab, scorecard, etc., just saying “a churn risk was fired because the churn score is high” is a useless tautological statement.

Being able to include even a short if meaningful summary description, like what’s at the top line of the Risk Analyst in Staircase would be great.

Appreciate that the structure is there, now help us make it more useful.

A super common conversation with Staircase has become: “Can we show people the context here?”

It seems like the act of “showing your work” is an important step in building trust; users don’t fully trust that the AI is making intelligent decisions yet, or even acting on sound data, without it. Even once trust is established, the next step in identifying risk is doing something about it - an early warning signal is useful, especially one that a user might have missed, but it remains an incomplete puzzle without some kind of info about the situation more granular than “it looks pretty bad”.

Providing this kind of data at scale will help to bring the users in, and keep them around once they have adopted.
