Our CS leadership team are extremely excited about the new C360 view, particularly the Customer Journey widget that shows the Customer Journey milestones timeline.

Unfortunately, they are less thrilled by the date range on the roadmap, since it looks so far back that the Onboarding milestones all end up stacked in one or two months.

It would be great if the widget could do some or all of the following:

  1. Make it configurable to specify a start and/or end date to show less range with no activity.
  2. Have the option to show the roadmap broken down by week milestones instead of months being the default, and only option.
  3. Provide a ‘zoom’ tool to expand the view on a window of time where multiple milestones fall into the same month.

This is definitely needed. Our team has run into issues where there are future dated milestones (ie. upcoming EBR) but there is no ability to scroll into the future to see those.

Thanks @anirbandutta. Is it possible to transfer the comments from that duplicate idea too? There was lots of good use cases and feedback in there.

Unfortunately not Spencer… that is worthy of a great Gainsight CC idea.

But @Sowmya should be looking up both the threads for requirement gathering.

By not allowing zooming in (or out), you get views like this where it clusters two of my milestones in November together and therefore is hard to see what the second one is because it just shows “+1” (or +2 or +3, etc. depending on how many are clustered in that month). This makes it easy to miss key events.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for sharing your insights, and I agree that they are essential for expanding the scalability of the Customer Journey (CJ) widget.

We are currently brainstorming the idea of incorporating filters, upcoming timeline activities, and other features into the CJ widget on the Timeline page.

We will keep you updated on our progress.

Regards,

Sowmya

Our team would like an easier way to scroll back to see previous milestones. It would be great if it was possible to specify a previous year rather than just the Current Month. Right now, the only option is to click the back button, which is tedious for long-term customers with lots of milestones:

Big +1 from me!

Having options to configure both the date range and how it’s displayed (like these screenshots from Domo) would be fantastic.

We have been building more manual milestones for the customer journey widget and finding that the date range is actually not wide enough for some of the data.  For example, we have customers that are more than two years old and it would be nice to be able to go back farther.  However, what is even more important for us is to be able to plan renewals and having them on a timeline like the customer journey is helpful.  The issue is that we can only go three months forward.  It would be nice to be able to go at least 2 - 3 years forward and see all the upcoming renewals we are putting in.
