We have received a request for the ability to display rich text field data in-field in a report. Currently, the behavior is that the plain text of the field will display in the report, and the three dots must be used to view the formatted text, which adds a click for users to be able to access the desired data.
While it is possible to enable text wrapping, this only wraps the plaintext field value, and does not make the formatted text any easier to access.
Having the ability to remove this extra click would be a great value-add when reporting on rich text data, and would open up some pretty interesting possibilities for what customers could do with their data.
