Allow Due Dates to be in Date format instead of Date Time

Having Due Dates be in DateTime format is curious to me. I can’t think of a reason anyone would ever need to know the exact time that a record is due -- and I think Gainsight knows this too, otherwise why would they display them as Date only in the UI? -- so why are Due Dates a DateTime field format vs. Date?

This present an irksome issue when exporting things like Success Plan objectives in a Success Snapshot. No CSM or Customer is ever going to care that the Due Date 4/1/2024 at precisely 6:30 AM:

So this forces CSMs to have to go through each row and manually remove the time value from each Due Date field.

Especially when I have no way of creating a custom field for this purpose without using the API.

Meant to post as an idea.  @anirbandutta may this be changed to Idea?  Thanks!

Well also the time part of this field is 100% useless.

As it’s not settable and it doesn’t do anything smart like the exact same time it is set.

If I remember correctly it is X hours after UTC time that gets stored.

Hey @darkknight

I’ve changed it to an idea.
