Allow filter on field in HRE / DD fetch tasks

I was surprised to discover this morning that I can’t “filter on field” in HRE / DD in a fetch task, but only filter on value. 

I don’t understand that. If I just need my dataset with one filter on field, why would I have to create transform task when filtering on value is allowed.
