Allow Mark Playbook Inactive when Rule status is Inactive

You can mark a Rule as Inactive. You can mark a Playbook as Inactive. However, you can’t mark a Playbook as Inactive if a rule exists that uses the Playbook, even if that Rule is Inactive.

I don’t want to delete the rule because I want it for historic record keeping, and I don’t want to delete the playbook because I want it for historic reporting. But I can’t mark it Inactive unless I delete the rule it’s associated with.

It would be nice if I could mark a playbook as Inactive if the rule it was associated with is also Inactive.

A colleague helped me identify a workaround here! If you remove the playbook from the inactive rule action, you can mark the playbook inactive.
