We have begun exploring the use of the customer goals feature for our CSMs. As an admin, I’ve noticed that there doesn’t seem to be a way of associating defined Metrics to a particular Customer Goal within our library.

 

This means that as we roll out Goals, CSMs will see ALL metrics in their C360, regardless of whether they are related to that particular goal or not. 

In our case there may be multiple Goals associated to one particular CRM Opportunity, and each Goal now has ALL metrics displayed to the CSM instead of only displaying the ones that matter to that goal.

As we grow our Outcome Based Selling approach, and we grow more types of Outcomes/Goals or add more KPIs the nuisance of this issue will continue to grow for our CSMs.

As an admin, I wish there was an easy way to associate Metrics to each Goal.

I really want to like the Goals feature, but it’s things like this not being out of the box that make it a disappointment still.
