Allow the Ability to Dynamically Hide or Show Layout Fields

We are working through a project to better capture churn reasons. One of the things I would love to do is create a picklist the holds the different values for Churn Reason, but hide it by default on the layout. But if the Stage is set to churned, then we would want to show field.

I know we can do something like this with layouts, but we already have so many of them. This would require us to at least double the number of layout that we already have, and this solution just doesn’t scale when you have a lot of layouts in play.
