I really want to be able to test my new Salesforce Connector job before I run it live and bring in 150 users. Please consider adding this as a feature like we’re able to do for rules.

    Great idea, @spencer_engel . You’ve got my vote.

    I don’t want to admit the amount of heartache that Rules run in test mode has saved me, because I caught a misconfiguration that’s then easy to correct.

    Having that in Connectors would be equally valuable, especially given the difficulty of backing out data upserts once they have happened in production.

    This is a great idea. 

     

    Drilling down - What would you want test run to do? Do we design something on lines of rules engine? i.e. Just get the data and end the job so that you can view the data in a CSV file.

    Yeah, that’s what I’m familiar with, so I can’t really imagine anything too different than what we already get in the Rules Engine.
