Allow Users to Add Own Columns on Dashboards

Similar to Home → Portfolio, it would be nice to allow users the ability to add their own columns (from a pre-defined group of columns) on tabular reports. They already have the ability to do this on drilldowns (though not from a pre-defined group of columns, separate idea coming about this), so why not allow it on tabular reports too?
