Alternative ways to view and find events; e.g. calendar format, a list, filters

I think that, ultimately, we need a series of events modules and the ability to customise the /events page with them, a la the home page. 

I’d like to see:

• Events Calendar module (Shows events in a calendar format)
• Events Categories feed (Lists events by category)
• My Events (shows events a user has registered for and previously attended)
• Featured event (Shows a single event which the community team wish to hero on page)

Any chance there is an update on this idea?

Chiming in here as well. ​@Kenneth R, ​@revathimenon, any insight as to whether this might be on the roadmap? Possibly tied to upcoming AI features?

Our current (Salesforce) community has a calendar view page (broken out by month), and it’s very popular, but I believe it’ll be going away when we migrate to CC in the coming weeks. I could see this being an incredibly useful feature in the Gamechanger community as well. Doing double entry in a third-party calendar tool and embedding it as an iFrame isn’t a good workaround, especially when we’re adding upcoming events to the Community, and styling custom pages (that are mobile-friendly) isn’t easy.

Hey ​@dayn.johnson we currently don’t have any upcoming plans to incorporate a full calendar view, I’m afraid.  The best we have natively is probably the ‘Events calendar’ widget where you can adjust how many events are shown.

We will explore the option to add more calendar widgets natively . While we see the value in the request, we're parking it for now as it doesn't align with our current priorities for this year.
