auto-detect and transform topic urls into a hyperlink
Hi,
I am often referencing other topics on the Community by using links. I use hyperlinks as they are more clear and visually appealing.
Unfortunately, this usually involves a lot of copying & pasting, as you have to:
- copy the topic url into your reply
- click on the "?" in order to copy the BB code for hyperlinks
- paste that BB code into your reply
- copy the url and replace the dummy url in the BB code
- change the hyperlink title to match the topic title
This could become very labor-intensive if you want to include multiple hyperlinks in a comment.
So ideally, the platform should automatically identify that the link points towards a topic on the Community, and turn this:
https://community.insided.com/platform-technology-19/mentions-feature-72
into this:
@mentions feature
I think that this would be an added value to all InSided Communities.
