Currently, Skilljar allows us to limit the number of registrants via the Waitlist feature, but it lacks a time-based restriction for new sign-ups.
Without a registration cut-off, staff must manually monitor sessions up until the exact start time to see if anyone has joined. This prevents instructors and coordinators from reallocating their time to other high-value tasks if a session remains empty. It also creates logistical challenges for preparing materials or sending pre-session communications to a finalized attendee list.
Suggestion
Introduce a Registration Cut-off Feature that allows admins to automatically disable new registrations at a predetermined interval before the event begins (e.g., 24 hours, 8 hours, or 1 hour prior).
