Be able to convert a Question/Conversation to an Idea

We get customers who sometimes have an Idea but post it as a question, or (the reverse) they ask a question in the Idea section. I know that we can convert Ideas into Questions, but it would be great to be able to convert Question/Conversations into Ideas. This will save as a lot of re routing, re linking, and reposting on our end.

@daniel.boon , is there a work around for this issue? We are thinking about using the ideation module, however our customers are now used to posting ideas as topics. If we have no options to move or convert topics to ideas, that would be a problem for us …

Not right now @Hiewwaiy but we’re at least committed to following up on this problem very soon.

Until we start the actual work, I’m hesitant to give you timelines on delivery, but I would personally advise you to not consider this problem as a factor when deciding whether or not to start using the ideation module - we aim to solve it 🙂.
