Bookmark post or to tag

We believe that bookmarking a specific public tag page and/or category page will do the trick here. Also users can bookmark individual topics and find them in their subscriptions page

I’d like to revive this idea! I’ve had several people ask how to keep up with certain topics. While you can subscribe to a topic, if you post a lot of replies or new topics, your subscription list is pretty cluttered. It’d be nice to have a separate list of bookmarked topics that you frequent.

Browser bookmarks are not the same here, what we need is a way for users to save topics of interest for future ref and subscriptions are not actively set by users by default making it difficult to keep track of.

I see this hasn’t had any activity for awhile, but I’d like to add a vote for it - I recently had one of our MVPs ask for an internal bookmark or “save for later” feature. Her use case: 

It might be cool if [our community] had a button for 'save for later' or something similar... like, I'd want to come back to those ... posts to watch and interact with the posts, but they will eventually move down the ... feed as new posts have interactions.

I realize I could easily use the bookmark feature on my computer, or do a number of other options outside of [the community] to save the links for me to view later, but I thought it might be cool if the portal had a save button, so I could go back in mCommunity to saved posts for me to view at my own time.

I’m not sure if this context helps make the case, but we’d also love if this idea could be revisited! 🙏

To add on this, it would be similar to a save tiktok or meta post, ones that you may want to reference again and again.  

I don’t know about your bookmark bar but mine is now pages long and it’s not a viable way to track posts.
