Clickable images?

I’m not sure if this is still under consideration but it would be a great feature for the Glint community.  Some of our documentation is in wizard form (Read one article, depending on your need, click the link from a list of options to the next article).  In these cases, we tried to have buttons as visual cues, but the images weren’t clickable.

It’s also just a common user experience to click an image that is hyperlinked so we’ve gotten user feedback that they assume an image is a link or a button. :)

Why hasn’t this been delivered yet. This is a basic requirement for any web platform.

If a URL exists link to the URL otherwise show the image zoom.

For others, you can right-click and use open in a new tab and the correct URL will open.

This would be a big plus! +1

I have many users asking for this! Some are putting together Newsletters using Articles and don’t like how the images don’t link. They also don’t like that you can scroll through them but that wouldn’t be an issue if they were links. Thanks!

Any updates here? Or workarounds?

Resurfacing this idea - not sure why I have the ability to hyperlink an image in the text editor only for it to magnify (instead of to go the link) when clicked. Really basic web feature. 

This was possible on the previous community site. I really hope so.

I agree - we use images as buttons (Download Installer, for example) to draw the user’s attention there… unfortunately, we can’t do that in InSided. :(
