Comments in Engagement Editor
Hello,
In working with others in my organization on reviewing engagements for look/feel and content, I’d like them to provide comments directly to the editor (preferably without having “Edit” permissions to the engagement). Additionally, I’d like the ability to tag usernames in those comments and notify those users of the comments where they’re tagged.
In my experience, exporting content from one system to another system where the content is marked up/reviewed/changed then causes several issues:
- Content Loses Context → documents get lost or misplaced in many Sharepoint, Teams, Slack, or Confluence sites/spaces (or deleted/removed as coworkers leave or change roles). Sometimes folks forget to include the link back to the specific engagement being referenced, etc.
- Context Switching Costs Time -- Pulling up two sites (gainsight, sharepoint) or apps (Chrome / Word) side-by-side for reference can be difficult, particularly on smaller screens.
- Permissions Issues -- Does every stakeholder with Gainsight Access also have access to that other document storage site?
